Family wine estate located in Saint-Étienne-de-Lisse and a story of a history dating from the 16th century, Château Trapaud is anchored in the prestigious appellation of Saint-Émilion Grand Cru. Managed by Béatrice Larribière, representing the 4th generation of family winegrowers, the castle extends over 25ha. Cultivated with passion and respect for the environment, the vineyard has been in organic farming since 2009 and has been certified HVE since 2021. The classic grape varieties of Bordeaux, such as the Merlot, the Cabernet Franc and the Cabernet Sauvignon, are carefully cultivated on this clay-limestone soil, giving the wines a remarkable finesse and complexity. In addition to its vines in Saint-Émilion Grand Cru appellation, the castle explores other terroirs in Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux. The wines, whether white or red, reveal a subtle balance and a captivating aromatic palette. Each bottle of Château Trapaud embodies the harmonious union between tradition and innovation.
